How French Employees Feel About COVID-19: A PandemicEX Survey

Apr 08, 2020

Summary

COVID-19 is spreading globally, affecting life in more than 200 countries. Our #pandemicEX research project aims to understand how employees are experiencing this. Forrester’s Q1 2020 European PandemicEX Survey reveals the employee experience of 222 French adults working part or full time during the COVID-19 crisis. While almost half of French employees believe the French government is reacting too softly to the COVID-19 crisis, adding weight to their fears of job losses, their fear of the further spread of the virus and its economic impact on firms is not as high as in Spain or Italy. A small majority of French employees trust their business leaders when it comes to their pandemic response. More than 50% of French employees prefer to work from home during the crisis, but a similar number are looking forward to going back to the office once it’s over. Skype is the collaboration tool of choice, but Microsoft Teams and Zoom are growing fast in popularity.
