Generative AI (genAI) has been one of the most discussed topics in the retail industry in the past two years. Many of the world’s largest retailers have shared their high-level experiments that involve genAI. In this report, we discuss the most common publicly released applications of genAI technology that retailers and brands have deployed to date.
