Nearly $100 billion in US retail spend disappeared in March 2020. In April 2020, we predict that retail sales will hit historic lows for several retail categories in the US. “Essential” retailer categories such as grocers, superstores, and pharmacies had strong sales in March and will continue to have strong sales in April.
