Portfolio management is an ongoing concern for digital and IT leaders, and an application portfolio is a key component of a broader strategic IT portfolio. Many organizations have hybrid applications with cloud and on-premises components, but a digital organization must unify these otherwise fragmented resources. To provide a unified view of digital and IT portfolios for governance and rationalization, infrastructure and operations (I&O) professionals must update their application portfolio management practices with modern cloud-native labeling and tagging approaches.
