The cloud skills gap remains a significant challenge for enterprises. However, this gap has somewhat diminished due to mainstream demand for cloud skills and subsequent proliferation of cloud certifications and academic programs. Despite this progress, the demand has moved toward more specialized skills, particularly in management of AI cloud services, FinOps, and robust cloud governance to support modern cloud strategies. This report examines the current cloud skills landscape and offers strategic insights for infrastructure and operations (I&O) professionals on building and retaining a skilled cloud workforce, enabling organizations to thrive in the ever-evolving cloud ecosystem.
