Every year, Forrester predicts what lies ahead for cloud in the year to come. In late 2015, we predicted the rise of hybrid cloud managers, the consolidation of cloud vendors, the movement of systems-of-record applications to public cloud platforms, and an increased awareness around networking improvements and automated security. We're looking back now to gauge how we did on our prior prognostications. This report holds us, the prediction makers, accountable by assessing how each prediction for infrastructure and operations (I&O) professionals played out in 2016.
