A race is on among enterprises to build automation that leverages capabilities of generative AI (genAI). Digital process automation (DPA) and adjacent process tools will help as they infuse genAI. DPA tools will see benefits in four areas: implementing AI-driven workflows, building AI agents, improving process analysis and mapping, and building DPA workflows more efficiently. In addition, genAI is poised to decrease previous DPA platform limitations.
