Summary
In 2019, 57% of Australian infrastructure decision-makers said their firm had adopted or was adopting public cloud, but a year later that fell to 47%. Businesses are shifting their future cloud adoption plans to the private edge. While we see a lift and shift toward private cloud, this approach to app modernization is unlikely to deliver true cloud benefits without a hybrid cloud approach. This report helps technology architecture and delivery leaders understand the current state of cloud adoption in Australia.
