Summary
Government culture energy lagged behind all other sectors in 2022. However, there were similarities in how seniority impacts energy levels and how customer-facing employees compare to their non-customer-facing peers. We also observed some notable differences in how office policies affect perceptions across sectors, with anywhere work coming out on top. Government leaders can use this data to benchmark their organization’s culture energy levels, identify similarities with other sectors, and translate culture best practices to the public sector.
