US Consumers’ Attitudes To In-Store Shopping And COVID-19

Summary

Two years have passed since the start of the pandemic, but consumers remain apprehensive about in-store shopping. Forrester’s February 2022 Consumer Energy Index And Retail Pulse survey shows that 67% of US online adults report continuing to engage in social distancing and wearing masks in public; 66% agree that everyone should still wear masks in stores. European respondents are even more wary: 74% of online adults in the UK and France agree that everyone should still wear masks in stores.
