Jemma Waters

Head of Responsible Transformation, Lloyds Bank Group

Jemma leads the Lloyds Banking Group Responsible Transformation team. Using data, design and digital capabilities, the team work with partners inside and outside of the bank on sustainability, societal impact and vulnerable customer initiatives.
Playing a pivotal role in UK tech adoption policy and implementation, leading the team responsible for the UK’s largest benchmark of individuals, charities and businesses’ digital skills; the UK Consumer and Business Digital Index reports.

The insight underpins both Government policy and societal propositions at Lloyds Banking Group including the Lloyds Bank Academy – a proposition aimed at providing organisations and people with the capability, confidence and connections they need to thrive in a digital economy. Jemma also leads the team evolving the Group Sustainability in tech agenda and is putting societal impact and social consciousness at the heart of system design.

Jemma is also a Tech Talent Charter UK Advisor, representative on the Money Advice and Pensions Service Financial Wellbeing Strategy Group, contributor to the DCMS’ Digital Skills Partnership and a Board Director for Future.Now.

She has been featured on the Innovate Finance Women in Fintech Powerlist.
