The rapid evolution of today’s AI assistants into tomorrow’s AI agents introduces a wealth of new opportunities to employ AI coworkers — specialized team members with increasing reasoning, autonomy, and collaboration capabilities. The path to success with this new breed of AI coworkers depends on humans, not advanced technology. AI coworkers must be onboarded in a way that ensures accurate representation of the business ethos in human-AI interactions and seamless integration with internal teams. In this report, we provide role-specific guidance for human-centered change and a clear framework for onboarding AI coworkers.
