Anton De Wet

Chief Client Officer, Nedbank Retail and Business Banking

Anton is the Chief Client Officer for Nedbank Retail and Business Banking, where his primary responsibility is to lead the development of a Client-Centred culture and to sustainably improve the Client Experience.

Anton has obtained CCXP, BCom, MBA degrees and has attended Advanced Management Programme (AMP) at INSEAD and a Strategic Marketing Programme (SMP) at Harvard Business School.

Anton started his banking career in 1986 and includes a stint in Corporate Banking. He joined Nedbank International Structured Finance in 1998, during which time he led Nedbank’s Private Equity investment in Virgin Active SA. He joined Nedbank’s Retail & Business Banking Exco in 2009, where he has had broad responsibilities, including the establishment of a Client Experience function.
