IT Governance Subject Matter Expert, General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS)

Austin Olson is an IT Governance Subject Matter Expert at General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS). He is a former Army National Guard Infantryman and Military Intelligence (MI) Officer with a Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University and Master’s Degree in Information Systems from Northwestern University. While in the military, Austin graduated in the top 5 of his MI Officer training class and went on to serve as a UAS Platoon Leader, Engineering Battalion S2, and Cyber Battalion S2. He has additional civilian experience in IT strategy, application development, ethical hacking, database administration, digital forensics, and security systems programming. He has passed certification exams such as the CISSP, CGEIT, IBM AI Professional, and Security+. Austin recently worked with Forrester to implement an Adaptative Governance framework at GDMS and currently serves as Program Manager for the effort.
