Biswabrata Chakravorty is the Head – Information Technology at Indusind Bank. Biswa has close to two decades in technology strategy, execution and transformation roles across leading Banks and Insurance organizations such as IndusInd Bank, Barclays Bank, Bank Of America, ICICI Prudential, Cigna TTK and Reliance Life Insurance. In his current role he is responsible for the roadmap, planning and delivery of strategic capabilities for IndusInd Bank across the technology stack back to front, aligning with the firm’s broader strategy. He is also accountable for governance and for security engineering to protect data centre, end points, applications and core information assets. Driving digital transformation across customer journeys, influencing the modernisation of the application stack using cloud and containerisation and create data warehouse and analytics capability are some of his strategic priorities.
