Bruce Hoang

Digital and Data Communication Director, Orange

Bruce started his career in online research at Harris Interactive and launched one the largest European Internet Observatory in the early 00s. As Vice-Chairman of IAB Europe (Interactive Advertising Bureau), Bruce led international working groups and co-found the I-COM initiative (International Conference of Online Measurement). In 2008 Bruce joined Orange Advertising as Group Research Director and became Group Marketing Director of Orange Advertising Network in 2010. A big data analytics passionate, he then joined Orange France as Chief Data Officer in 2013 and launched the first DMP (Data Management Platform) at Orange. In Oct. 2015, Bruce was appointed Digital & Data Director of the Media and Communication department. Monitoring social organic and paid media, he launched a content management platform across Orange France, as well as new publishing and listening tools using AI. He manages a team of 30 people composed of campaign strategists, community managers, data scientists and analysts who work on real time customer insights and deliver impactful content.
