Calvin Lai, as Chief Architect of The Hong Kong Jockey Club, has been a leader in enterprise architecture, driving innovation and operational excellence.  Before joining The Hong Kong Jockey Club, Calvin served as Head of Technology and Architecture at Cathay Pacific Airways, where he played a pivotal role in the airline’s digital transformation journey.  Throughout his career, Calvin has consistently demonstrated a visionary approach to enterprise architecture and technology modernization, emphasizing customer-centric experiences, business-IT alignment, and sustainable transformation.  In addition to his professional achievements, Calvin contributes to the IT community as an Executive Committee Member of the Enterprise Architecture Specialist Group of the Hong Kong Computer Society. In this capacity, he collaborates with industry peers to advance enterprise architecture practices, share knowledge, and promote innovation and excellence throughout the region.
