Claire Priestley is Chief Digital and Information Officer at the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea (RBKC), Founder of CIO+1, Co-founder and director of The Secret Boxing Gym, London. She is passionate about people, technology and inclusion.

Claire featured in the CIO100 2018, 2019, 2020, ‘Future CIO of the Year’ category in the 2017 Women in IT Awards and was a shortlisted finalist in the ‘CIO of the Year’ category 2018. Claire has held roles in tech leadership for over 13 years across Public, Private and Education sectors, prior to which she spent almost a decade working on significant Business Change and Transformation Projects in a Global FTSE100 company.

An accredited facilitator (IAF), mentor, and STEM ambassador Claire launched the ‘Connectivity across London’ initiative with peers from Camden Council and University of London and has held NED and Trustee roles alongside her ‘day jobs’.

At RBKC Claire is currently overseeing the disaggregation of a shared service with Westminster City Council, the design, build and implementation of a new Sovereign Operating Model and a brand new Digital Strategy to launch the new Digital, Data and Technology Service.
