Daniel Murray

Daniel Murray, former Chief Digital Officer of Bed Bath & Beyond, has been applying digital strategy and technology to solve meaningful business problems for more than 20 years. In his 8 years at Bed Bath & Beyond, he led Bed Bath & Beyond’s digital business, growing it by more than 500% through a disciplined, data-driven approach while spearheading digital innovation and transformation at the company. While there, he established and grew the company’s product management, digital optimization and user experience practices with innovation and customer-centricity as the guiding principles. Mr. Murray was responsible for a multi-billion dollar P&L.

Prior to that, he started his career and spent 15 years at SapientNitro (now Publicis.Sapient) crafting digital strategies and applying technology to solve business problems for his clients. At SapientNitro, Daniel worked with such Fortune 500 clients such as Target, TD Bank, Royal Bank of Canada, Sprint, Sony and others. He played roles from Portfolio Delivery Lead, leading the Mid-Atlantic/Kansas region, to Client Executive in his last several years there. He left as a Vice President in 2012.

Mr. Murray now consults for leading digital technology companies and sits on the Advisory Board for 3 different start-ups.
