Chief Digital and Information Officer , Moeve

David Liras holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the Pontifical University of Salamanca and has furthered his education at internationally renowned institutions including MIT, ESADE (Advanced Management Program), and IE Business School. He has built a career spanning more than fifteen years at Moeve (formerly Cepsa), holding positions of increasing responsibility across Information Systems and Digital, with experience in Chemicals, Energy Parks, Trading, and Mobility & New Commerce. Prior to taking on the role of CDIO, he served as IT & Digital Director for Moeve’s Chemicals business, where he led the implementation of digital solutions aimed at improving industrial processes.

A Transformational Mandate. In April 2025, Moeve appointed David Liras as Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO), marking a strategic organizational move that brought the Information Systems and Digital functions together under a single leadership structure for the first time. The appointment reflects Moeve’s ambition to accelerate its technological and digital transformation as part of its Positive Motion strategic plan, which sets out the company’s 2030 ambition to become one of the driving forces behind Europe’s energy transition.”
