Déji Fátunlá, Engineering Lead, Sunrun

Déji has always been focused on improving collaboration, whether it be giving a quick helping hand, or providing solutions to complex obstacles. He has extensive experience in SaaSOps, solutions consulting, strategic transformational initiatives, people development, and enterprise change and program management. His current focus is enterprise collaboration and productivity. As Manager of Corporate Engineering at Sunrun, he is the driving force behind Sunrun’s internal transition to smart and automated enterprise solution systems for the company’s 14,000+ employees. He oversees the organization’s enterprise application stack, leading the integration and migration of systems from the acquisition of Vivint Solar in 2020. He believes that businesses thrive when employees are appreciated and happy. This is why he was extremely humbled when given the chance to become the Retention & Progression Lead for Sunrun’s Blacks+ ERG.

For fun, he spends his time playing with his children, biking in the Rockies, reading and building and flying drones. He is also currently working on his private pilots’ license
