Erica Shine is the Enterprise Technology & AI Officer at Erie Insurance, leading initiatives that unite business strategy, innovation, and execution.​ She oversees Enterprise Architecture, Emerging Technology & Enterprise AI, as well as the Office of the CIO — driving modernization and shaping ERIE’s enterprise technology future.​

​With nearly two decades at ERIE, Erica built a career defined by connecting business outcomes with technological advancement and human-centered leadership. Today, Erica leads a global organization of more than 100 professionals and vendor partners, overseeing $100+million of technology investments each year.​

​She is known for building transformative teams, mentoring future leaders, and fostering a culture of innovation grounded in collaboration, curiosity, and purpose.​ As ERIE’s AI leader, Erica works across the enterprise to embed emerging technologies across business operations and experiences.​

​Her team recently helped bring ERIE’s co-founder, H.O. Hirt, “back to life” through an AI and hologram collaboration with PwC — a groundbreaking project that merged technology, storytelling, and legacy to honor ERIE’s100th anniversary.​
