VP, Data Strategy and Governance, Humana

Genevy Dimitrion is responsible for driving the vision and strategy to inventory, manage and drive impact from Humana’s comprehensive data assets. Responsibilities include organizing for successful data governance and stewardship, establishing policies and standards in data management, strategic acquisition of additional data assets, making it easier for Humana associates and partners to find and use data responsibly, ensuring capabilities are in line with evolving legislation, and employing methods to protect our most sensitive data, and increase data mobility and quality.

Previously, she was the senior vice president and chief data steward in State Street’s Enterprise Data Governance and Management group, responsible for driving the company’s data governance framework through activities that included adoption, data stewardship and enterprise governance standards. She has been widely quoted as a leading expert on messaging standards and data, and has presented at several industry events. Her contributions to the industry have led to the publication of several global market practices and recommendations used today. Genevy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Rutgers University.
