Associate Chief Information Officer, Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA)

Kevin Sturlaugson is the Associate Chief Information Officer at Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) and is responsible for oversight and governance of all technology needs for Assistant Secretary Indian Affairs (ASIA), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) , and Bureau of Indian Education (BIE). These Bureaus are responsible for providing Government services to Federally recognized Native American Tribes ensuring the Trust Treaty Agreements are upheld and helping them in Self-Determination capabilities.  He has been with BIA since 2022 and has over 28 years of Federal Service and 10 years of Corporate Service within the information technology field.
