Principal Product Manager, Bayer

Michelle Jaenke is a Principal Product Manager for Bayer Crop Science, and has been with Bayer since 2012. In her role, Michelle drives discovery work, mentors Product Managers and Product Specialists, and identifies, creates, and shares best practices that deliver business outcomes and speed innovation across the company’s Research & Development, Product Supply and Commercial Operations functions.

Michelle leads the Agility at Scale initiative for Bayer Crop Science to help programs continuously improve the way they work together. She also plans and hosts the Crop Science IT Forum to foster a supportive, value-generating, global culture. This provides a platform to share stories about partnership, discovery, and delivery through shared learnings and best practices.

At Bayer, Michelle has served in various digital product leadership roles including leading the Global Product Supply Planning IT Platform that enables our Product Supply Planners to accurately forecast and plan to have the right products at the right place at the right time for our customers.

Michelle holds a BS degree in Computer Science from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville and is the recipient of the 2023 Forrester Product Management Program of the Year Award.
