Michael Tripp is Vice President Lexus Guest Experience. In this role, he is responsible for all national Lexus customer satisfaction activities as well as parts and service for dealerships and field operations.
Most recently, Michael served as the head of Brand Communications, Consumer Experience and the Lexus Academy at Lexus Europe where he led a multinational team responsible for building brand awareness and advocacy across 35 countries. In prior roles, Michael helped establish Lexus International’s Global Brand Management team in Tokyo where he managed the deployment of communication tools and resources to establish brand consistency and expand Lexus globally. He then led Lexus International’s efforts to optimize global marketing and PR activities by bringing these disciplines together through the creation of the International Strategic Communications group.
Well known for his enthusiasm, creativity and problem-solving skills, Michael has a history of turning bold ideas into reality. He has been instrumental in some of the brand’s most innovative and ambitious communications projects including the development of Lexus’ SLIDE global brand campaign, the reveal of the L42 Sport Yacht Concept and the introduction of Lexus Self-Charging Hybrid as a creative tagline.
Michael has held leadership roles in North America, Japan and Europe and served as an advisor for the brand’s expansion in Latin America. When he is not passionately promoting the Lexus story you can find him enjoying time with his wife and two daughters biking near their home in Texas or planning their next big family adventure.
