Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer, AARP

Najeeb (Naj) Uddin serves as the Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer (CIO) at AARP. Naj is responsible for information security, risk management, technology transformation, and system reliability for AARP’s technology environment.  He is a lead executive for AARP’s digital transformation, which will deliver a unified, omni-channel consumer experience. Naj is making rapid and significant progress in realigning AARP’s Information Technology Services, with a focus on business outcomes that address efficiency, flexibility, and improved synchronization with evolving business models.  Prior to joining AARP, Naj held executive roles in the technology and marketing industries where he led client management, large-scale systems implementation, outsourcing, and technology adoption. His experience includes leadership positions at a number of technology startups and a large management consulting firm.  He is a thought leader for digital transformation, technology adoption, change enablement, and operational turnaround. Naj holds an MBA from Northwestern University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois.
