Product Manager, Certification, Forrester

Patrick dedicates himself to providing an unparalleled customer experience in Forrester’s certification courses. With over a decade of experience in developing, scaling, and supporting online learning programs, Patrick works with Forrester’s customer obsessed teams—including experts in research, technology, user experience, and learning design—to merge Forrester’s cutting-edge research with latest developments in adult learning theory and cognitive science, creating a flexible online space for individuals and teams to practice using Forrester’s research through engaging activities, community discussions, and direct application of key tools and concepts. Patrick comes from a background in higher education, which has instilled in him an insatiable curiosity and thirst for knowledge. He continuously solicits client feedback and uses that feedback as the foundation on which the certification team identifies opportunities to develop new courses and enhance the online learning experience. Patrick is interested in leveraging technology to democratize learning and help others find quality opportunities for personal and professional development. Forrester’s certification is the perfect place to do that.

Previous Work Experience

Prior to joining Forrester as a product manager, Patrick worked in learning design and leadership at multiple types of organizations, including mega universities, small businesses (including small business non-profits), and educational technology startups. He led program development and oversaw the operations of curriculum units for Southern New Hampshire University’s online liberal arts department during a rapid enrollment period from 8,000 to over 80,000 online students. Among his other work, Patrick has also helped launch and mature two businesses. One, a residential construction dealer, was acquired after revised sales training and improved customer experience resulted in over 200% year over year growth. The other, a startup university, continues to expand globally and offers a low-cost American degree to emerging regions across the world.

Previous Education

Patrick holds an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University, an MFA in Film and Digital Production from the Savannah College of Art and Design, and a BA in English from the University of New England.
