Peter has 20 years of experience as a software engineer and architect building complex enterprise systems and aligning organizations to fully leverage their investments. He has broad experience delivering software and acting as a change agent in large companies, large hospitals, and startup companies. His expertise aligns with distributed systems and modern data platforms. Before joining Humana, he architected a big data platform that ingested clinical and genomic data to power real world evidence, similar patients (diagnoses and therapies), and clinical trial site optimization for an oncology focused startup based in San Francisco.  At Humana he is a thought leader and has led the charge for the design and socialization of the North Star Architecture and Unified Data & Analytics Platform (UDAP). He continues to lead the evolution of the North Star Architecture and UDAP while working with teams throughout the company to align their data platforms and data strategy with the same.
