On March 13, 2014, IBM hosted close to 200 CIOs from North America for a two-day event in Chicago. Discussion focused on the impact that big data, cloud, and new customer engagement models such as mobile and social would have on business strategy and practices — and the role of the CIO itself. While the event targeted CIOs, Forrester believes the trends and discussion topics are at least as relevant for security and risk (S&R) leaders, including chief risk officers (CROs), chief privacy officers (CPOs), and chief information security officers (CISOs).
