CIBC recently began offering online banking customers free downloads of Rapport, an application from security vendor Trusteer. Rapport uses a combination of access control, encryption, and verification tools to lock down a customer's browser against malware-based phishing attacks like man-in-the-browser and man-in-the-middle.
