Why Read This Report

This forecast, made exclusively available for ForecastView clients, sizes and forecasts the installed base of smart home devices and systems in the US. We also look at the number of households that use one or more types of smart home devices and the average number of smart home devices per household. We break up this forecast into 11 main categories of smart home devices: smoke/carbon monoxide detection systems, do-it-yourself home monitoring, professionally monitored home security systems, connected door locks, smart thermostats, smart bulbs and lighting, electricity monitoring, dependent care monitoring, pet monitoring, garden and lawn, and connected speakers. We look at the installed base and its growth, as well as yearly unit sales of these 11 categories.
