Total online retail spending within the three Latin American (LATAM) countries covered in this forecast -- Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico -- is expected to reach $47.3 billion by 2018, up from $19.8 billion in 2013, growing at a five-year compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 19%. This represents over a seven-fold increase from 2009, when online retail spending in these countries was just over $6 billion. Brazil will remain the largest market, with online sales growing to $35 billion by 2018, followed by Argentina and Mexico at $6.8 billion and $5.5 billion, respectively. This report estimates both online buyers and online retail spending by categories such as computer hardware and software, consumer electronics, apparel, media, appliances, and more. It provides historical data going back to 2009 and a five-year forecast.
