HYDRASIGHTS 2009: Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)

January 14th, 2009

Summary

The majority of medium and larger enterprises will continue to expand current/initial service oriented architecture (SOA) deployments and improve their immature SOA management practices. As such, Hydrasight foresees that the total number of organizations adopting SOA in Asia Pacific will not significantly expand during 2009. A greater focus on SOA governance, monitoring, reliability, and performance will begin to materialize as these larger organizations prepare to move from a collection of disparate services toward an end-to-end perspective. Even so, we believe that SOA will be increasingly tied to, and often driven by, both master data and metadata management projects.
