Infrastructure and operations (I&O) pros hear growing murmurs of "Shift application performance management (APM) left," as APM vendors see in development and operations (DevOps) an opportunity to serve a new market: developers. Most of the activities shifting as teams adopt DevOps go from left to right — developers sharing Agile processes and tools with their slow-and-cautious operations counterparts.
