Job scheduling is present in all data centers and is an indispensable tool in IT operations. Over the past 25 years, since the first automated job scheduler was put on the market, the available solutions have evolved to adapt to different platforms and application technologies. There have been temporary spikes in market growth, but the market is generally considered very stable and mature.
