Summary

Consumer behaviors are becoming increasingly mobile, and many are almost continuously connected to the Internet. Along with the move toward downloadable content, this trend will allow the PC to play an increasingly important role in the video gaming market. Changes in gaming content delivery will move video gaming into the PC's wheelhouse and allow consumer product strategists to start cashing in on an enormous addressable PC gaming market. However, getting consumers to pay for PC games is going to require a change of habit.
