Summary

Consumer uptake of tablets continues to climb. In 2013, one-third of US online adults reported using a tablet; in 2014, this figure has grown, with the largest increase in usage coming from older adults. Consumers use their tablets for a number of activities — communication, entertainment, and taking photos or videos. This report outlines how and where US consumers use tablets and provides the outlook for tablet uptake in the future.
