Summary
In a race to meet customer acquisition and retention targets while reducing account takeover (ATO) fraud, financial services firms have strived to ensure that their sites are both secure and easy to use. This is not always easy for S&R pros to achieve, but it is very doable with repeatable and consistent security measures. In this report, we introduce the Forrester security strength and ease-of-use benchmark and use it to evaluate five large US retail banking websites to see how their online channels meet both our security and ease criteria.
