In our annual organizational and staffing survey of eBusiness and channel strategy professionals, we found that while eBusiness budgets have grown by more than 10%, finding the skills and capabilities to execute on a digital strategy is becoming harder and harder. Staffing is most painful for technology, customer experience, and business analytics roles — all critical functions for driving digital transformation. In this report, we outline average eBusiness team sizes and segment that analysis by overall company revenue, overall company employee count, and online revenue. We also discuss the functional areas in which eBusiness professionals are most understaffed and those roles they find hardest to fill.
