Summary

The Balanced Scorecard is built around four dimensions that have been adjusted for use in information technology: the value perspective, the customer orientation perspective, the operational excellence perspective, and the future, learning, and growth perspective. In this adaptation of the BSC for I&O, each perspective has two business objectives associated with it, and each objective can be measured with many different metrics. This is an update to the 2009 version of the IT I&O Balanced Scorecard.
