Summary

As more organizations adopt agile and scrum practices for product development, product management often struggles to determine what responsibilities and aspects of the product commercialization and lifecycle process should change and what should stay the same. Some organizations overhaul their entire process, while others continue to operate as before. Regardless of development approach, the fundamental responsibilities of product management always apply. In this report, we introduce the Forrester Agile Product Management Adaptation Framework, which describes the five aspects of product management that need to be adapted with a move to an agile product development approach.
