Summary
An agency proposal is essentially a marketing document; the statement of work is the contractual agreement between agency and client. Negotiating the statement of work (SOW) means more than getting a bargain; the full scope of the project must be defined and agreed upon. The more carefully prepared the SOW, the more likely that a project will not go over budget or off target.
