Summary

Forrester surveyed 139 Oracle implementation client references and found that Oracle implementation services buyers were most satisfied with technical expertise and pricing transparency, but rated their providers lower on the effectiveness of their methodology for measuring business benefits related to the solution and on end user or IT training. Reference clients also raised concerns related to skills transfer post-implementation, industry-specific knowledge, and knowledge of business processes related to the scope of implementation. Sourcing and vendor management teams can take comfort in the overall quality of Oracle implementation providers but still need to ensure due diligence on consultant teams and the providers' ability to be flexible over the length of the engagement.
