Summary

Corporate higher education degree programs attract new employees. They provide an opportunity to continue working while earning an MBA, a master's degree, or another degree or certification that could lead to faster promotions. Although some degree programs are company-funded, the trend is for employees to pay a portion of their tuition. Corporations should not count on degree programs alone to retain employees. For example, while a corporate-funded MBA degree program is very attractive, candidates will only remain with a company for the long term if it has a collaborative culture, a positive working environment, and openness to new ideas.
