Consumers buy secondhand or used goods to save money and find unique products. But environmental sustainability is also a key reason for European consumers — more so than for their US peers. Brands engaging in the secondhand commerce ecosystem have an opportunity to attract, acquire, and retain the 60% of French, 49% of UK, and 41% of US online adults who prefer to buy environmentally sustainable products.
