Summary

Canadian banks can make their websites more "sticky" by adding the types of tools that consumers are most interested in using to manage finances. Four in five bank personal finance management (PFM) users only use tools on their bank's site; that means one in five are also using tools elsewhere. Banks will see the biggest impact and fastest uptake when they develop tools that customers need most: charting out spending, savings help, and spend comparisons.
