French consumers’ concerns for their physical safety in public places varies widely by location, according to Forrester’s June 2023 Consumer Pulse Survey. On the high end of the spectrum, 42% of French online adults are concerned about their physical safety in live entertainment venues. On the lower end, 24% worry about their safety in banks and retail stores. For customers, there’s a difference between being safe and feeling safe. Customer experience leaders should use design best practices to ensure that customers feel safe. This data snapshot shows French online adults’ attitudes toward physical safety in public locations.
