From Zero To Hero: European Serverless Security Is No Longer Under A Cloud

Developers continuously increase the use of serverless functions due to scalability benefits. Serverless ecosystems, however, are susceptible to cyberattacks and vulnerabilities from open source and third-party dependencies. Despite these risks, European security decision-makers reported serverless security as the application security technology with one of the lowest rates of adoption (61%) in data from the Forrester Analytics Business Technographics® Security Survey, 2021. Nevertheless, Forrester’s Security Survey, 2022, shows that rates of adoption of serverless security for European companies have now increased by 15 percentage points in comparison to last year (61% to 76%).
