Summary

According to Forrester’s 2022 data, 66% of security decision-makers who are responsible for identity and access management use two or more vendors for their identity verification (IDV) solutions. Security decision-makers with IDV responsibilities use multiple providers, indicating the diverse range of customer IDV requirements and that no single provider can address them all. Identity verification deployments are often held back by: 1) gaps in functionality from solution providers, and 2) the variability of who owns IDV in any organization. Decision-makers should first carefully discover their organizational IDV requirements and then map appropriate IDV solutions to those requirements.
